Consort de Danse Baroque offer a range of Period Movement and Dance workshops/residencies and lecture-demonstrations (from the Middle Ages to the early twentieth century) which are suitable for all ages (from primary school to adult).

In addition, we welcome the opportunity to work with other music/arts organisations offering educational workshops.
- will contain instruction in basic steps required for chosen dances and background information on the period to put the dances in context. Focus of the workshop(s) will depend on the requirements of the institution.
- can include an illustrated lecture with slides, background information on the period, social etiquette including honours before and after dancing with demonstrations of the most popular dances of the chosen period(s).
