early 18th century, and was danced at royal balls and on the stage.

Fridays,  May 30th;  June 27th;  July 11th

7:45pm – 9:15pm, Technique, improver to advanced levels. Not suitable for beginners.
Please see Saturday & Sunday technique for classes suitable for beginners.

Saturdays, Summer Term 2025

Saturdays,  May 17th,  July 5th, 19th

5:15pm – 6:30pm, Technique for beginners/improvers, and
intermediate students wishing to clarify fundamentals.

Sundays, Summer Term 2025

Sundays,  May 18th,  July 6th, 20th

Session 1a:  6:15pm – 6:30pm, Basic steps for beginners (& improvers)
Session 1b:  6:35pm – 7:45pm, Technique all levels, beginners welcome
Session 2:  7:45pm – 8:15pm, Intermediate/advanced levels continue

Fees:

Single session: standard £17, low income £14
For the Friday, Saturday or Sunday series (1 session × 3): standard £45, low income £36

Both Sunday sessions: standard £22.50, low income £19
For the series (2 sessions × 3): standard £61, low income £51

Fee reductions available for full-time students

Zoom: You don’t need to have a Zoom account to attend a Zoom meeting. We will send you a link to join the meeting, and you will be prompted to download the software after clicking on the link. You may also wish to create an account, but that is not required to participate in a Zoom meeting.
